Mathew Broughton graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography, a world renown professional photography/video school located in Santa Barbara, CA. He then spent the next 3 years working as a full time cinematographer and head editor for Dive Into Your Imagination Productions. During this time he traveled the world working with top professionals and creating educational nature & underwater based content.

Mathew then went on to start his own Freelance Video Production & Media Services company (MatieB Productions) which has been in operation for 14 years now. Working and collaborating with clients and companies such as: Patagonia®, Levi's Jeans, Amazon Prime Video Documentary "Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind", Microcosm Documentary (Arctic Circle Footage DP), Santa Barbara International Film Festival (filming interviews with top A-list Hollywood actors such as John Depp, Denzel Washington, Ryan Gosling etc...)
